Welp, I’m not as good at grammar as I had hoped and the work at home job is not an option.  I’ll tell you this though, I’ll never confuse compliment and complement again.  But I will probably always confuse populous and populace. Oh well, I’d say it wasn’t meant to be but that’s just what people say when they don’t want to slit their wrists.  The results from the grammar test came at the same time the dentist was telling me I need 8 crowns at about $2000 each.  I guess I’ll become one of those toothless unemployed people.  Not a good day.

So, the search continues.  In the meantime, I’ll just extend my stay up north by a couple of days for the sheer purpose of driving my sister crazy.  That will surely give me some satisfaction.

Today is packing day.  I shall see how many warm clothes I can stuff in my suitcase.

Temperatures were cold last night and we had a nice cozy fire.  There’s no heat coming on though, so it’s not THAT cold.  Temps are around 40 this morning I think.  We are supposed to have a very sunny day but I have yet to see that big yellow ball in the sky.  I was hoping to get some last-minute sun on my face to carry me through the next couple of weeks.  Quite the opposite of coming down for a week to get sun on my face to carry me through 3 months of sheer cold torture.

Yesterday’s soup was good although there was a little bit of a bitter after taste.  I was the only one that ate it so I’ll be the only one getting sick.  So far I feel pretty good.

Ummm, I guess that’s about it. I won’t be blogging while up north, cause well I’ll be there so finallyflorida doesn’t seem appropriate, and I don’t want to lug my computer with.  When I come back here perhaps I will have renewed appreciation for my geological change.  I’m already looking forward to coming back and getting out of the cold.  I haven’t been gone long enough for me to get excited about being cold…again.  I don’t know that I’ll ever be gone long enough for that. And the last time I came home (back from Pittsburgh) my BF (that would be Philip) took me straight to the beach for the best welcome home ever.

Perhaps something exciting will happen before I take my leave and I’ll have an update tomorrow.  Otherwise have a wonderful turkey!!

  3. Ok….8 crowns at $2000 EACH?! You can get an implant for that price up here! I have one and that’s what it cost. Better than a crown.
Pack your warm clothes….it’s cold. However, according to the weather man, it should reach 50* on Monday. Safe travels. You and the rest of your family … HAPPY THANKSGIVING
